GOOD NEWS CLUB

Good News Club is a way that Citylight Bennington partners with CEF Omaha (Child Evangelism Fellowship of Omaha) to reach public elementary school students with the gospel weekly throughout Omaha during the school year. This weekly event includes Bible lessons, worship, games, snacks, and a space for children to hear about the Good News of Jesus!

  • Good News Clubs meet weekly during the school year.

  • Starting in the fall, the locations will be:

    • Anchor Pointe Elementary

    • Heritage Elementary

    • Pine Creek Elementary

  • Adults & Teens who have been trained teach weekly. There are 100 teachers in total across all Good News Clubs in Omaha.

  • Weekly attendance for Good News Club’s during the school year is about 350 students across 31 campuses. The Class size at each Good News Club varies, but is typically around 30-45 students.
